Sold new by City Motors of National City Ca.

 

1st Owner was Charlotte Spenner, who won the car in a raffle at the San Diego Optimist Club. But was not recognized as an owner.

 

2nd Owner being recorded as 1st Owner was David Husten in 1987 with 34k miles

 

            Mr. Husten restored the car and sold it in 1992

 

3rd Owner as 2nd Owner Chuck Jones of Anaheim Ca. purchased in 1992 with 47,500 miles

 

Mr. Jones sold the car in 1999 to

 

4th Owner as 3rd Owner: Carroll Shelby with 50,000 miles.  Mr. Shelby’s crew from SAAC went over the car with a fine-toothed comb, verified and confirmed all numbers matched and correct date codes.

            Carroll Shelby wanted to drive the car so he had Classic Auto Air install a factory correct A/C unit and remove the smog control (which is still with the car)

 

Carroll Shelby sold the car to the 5th owner

 

5th owner as 4th Owner Harold Johnson in 2001 with 52,700 miles

 

Mr. Johnson sold the car to the 6th and current owner in Jan. 2003. with 54,500 miles
